Naturopathy is a holistic healthcare model which looks at the individual as a whole. A holistic approach addresses not only the current symptoms and conditions, but acknowledges the underlying factors which may drive or trigger them. This facilitates greater healing and wellbeing long term, as the underlying causes of ill health may be attended to and modified. Naturopaths use nutrition, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle support to achieve this.
A consultation with Aimee involves a comprehensive health assessment.
Areas of discussion include:
· your health concerns and goals
· your health history
· current diet and lifestyle
· physical assessments (e.g., blood pressure, nail analysis)
· pathology testing if indicated (e.g., blood, stool or saliva testing)
Aimee will then tailor a support program to your unique health needs and personal circumstance. Support programs are founded on evidence-based practices, and may include the use of herbal medicines, nutritional supplementation, food therapy, lifestyle advice and referral to other health practitioners as appropriate.
Naturopathy may assist in the management of:
· Low or inconsistent energy
· Poor sleep
· Stress
· Anxiety and depression
